SAIL 50 years - Amsterdam

Intersettle asked us to develop a creative proposal for the complete decoration and styling (including interior concept) of both SAIL Village locations in the port area of Amsterdam. Within this assignment, we worked to create a cohesive experience in line with SAIL’s identity: nautical, adventurous and recognizable.

SAIL in the western port area

Two ports were established in the Western Port area. The SAIL Villages were realized at these locations, equipped with ample parking, hospitality reception areas and a departure and arrival quay for the ships.

SAIL Village Westhaven

At Westhaven, we realized an impressive SAIL location on a site of no less than 87,000 m² on Corsicaweg, next to the Koopman Car Terminal. At this location, we were commissioned by Intersettle to build approximately 3,000 m² of hospitality and reception accommodations, fully furnished and styled according to SAIL’s nautical theme. These facilities allowed visitors and participants to optimally enjoy the experience of SAIL.

SAIL Village Amerikahaven

In Amerikahaven, on the site of TMA Logistics at Cacaohaven/Amerikahaven, we realized a second SAIL Village location. Here we built approximately 2,000 m² of hospitality and reception accommodations commissioned by Intersettle, fully furnished and styled in line with the nautical character of the event.
