BloemBloem

In 2004, BloemBloem was founded in the southern Netherlands. We have since moved from Noord-Brabant to Amsterdam. And we’ve never stopped doing what we love most: completely decorating events throughout the Netherlands, and sometimes even beyond!

Years of experience ensures the right atmosphere

At our headquarters, you’ll find a creative team that crafts custom proposals and 3D designs, allowing you to see what your event will look like instantly. At our florist shop, florists create unique floral decorations, while our on-site project team handles all event set-up and styling.

Behind the scenes, our transportation department, workshop, and spacious warehouses ensure that all furniture, decorations and flowers are delivered, maintained and prepared in time for each event.

We’ve been around for a while, and in that time, you go through a lot. We are known for our creativity, reliability and attention to detail. You don’t achieve that overnight; there’s experience, passion and craftsmanship behind it.

We’d like to take you through a bit of FlowerBloom history.

2005

Started as Trends for Rent

In Nieuwegein, we started with a small, ambitious team and laid the foundation here to what we are today.

2006

New home base in Hoofddorp

A year later, the first big step: the move to Hoofddorp. There, growth took place not only in space but also in possibilities. Taking over the back office of Verhaaf Partycatering brought in new knowledge and capacity.

2009

Acquisition of BloemBloem

In 2009, the company expanded through the addition of BloemBloem from Poeldijk. The collaboration brought added color, creativity, and atmosphere to Trends for Rent’s projects.

2010

Tour de France Rotterdam

A true milestone: BloemBloem had the honor of contributing to the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Rotterdam. A mega-event full of creativity and logistical challenges, where we demonstrated that we were ready for the big stage.

2012

New branch in Oosterhout

In 2012, Trends for Rent and BloemBloem merged to form a new company in Oosterhout. A new phase of growth and cooperation began. In addition, part of Arjan van Dijk’s collection was acquired, with a particular focus on props and set pieces.

2014

Merger with Heman Rental Service

In 2014, the collaboration was further strengthened through an agreement with Heman Verhuurservice. The three brands (Heman, Trends for Rent, and BloemBloem) joined forces. Together, they were stronger than ever, offering a broad and complete range of services for the events industry.

2015

Tour de France Utrecht

Five years after the success in Rotterdam, BloemBloem was again on hand for the start of the Tour de France, this time in Utrecht. Another great event that underscored the team’s craftsmanship and experience.

That same year, a new building in Mijdrecht was purchased, the next step toward physically merging the companies.

2016

Moving to Amsterdam and Mijdrecht

The actual move followed in 2016. The assortment of Trends for Rent and Héman Horecaverhuur found its place in Amsterdam, while BloemBloem settled in Mijdrecht. This positioned the two brands as complementary to each other, each with its own strength and identity.

2022

Invictus Games The Hague

After a turbulent period of postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Invictus Games finally went ahead in The Hague in 2022, just in the nick of time. The biggest event to date. And we’re still growing…
